I'm thinking that I want to be as all natural as possible throughout my pregnancy, birth, feeding, and diapering of my baby. Also, economically, the idea of cloth diapers sounds like a good one. However, I'm worried that my family will not be supportive of my decision to cloth diaper. They have offered to babysit so I can finish college, so I don't want to step on toes, but I really think I want to cloth diaper.
How did you bring it up with your families? Were they supportive? What did you say if they weren't? Any suggestions?
Re: Thinking About Cloth Diapering
I just told my family that it was my choice and that's what I was going to do.Here are some links that may help you!

And the link to my fluffy blog in my signature. I hope that helps.
CDs can be as easy to change as disposables, they just go into the laundry instead of the trash. Pocket diapers and AIOs (all in ones) are babysitter friendly.
I was pleasantly surprised. My mom tried to convince me not to CD, but now she shares my blog posts about CDs with her friends.
I mentioned it and no one had issues. MIL keeps quiet about it. Both of my SILs CD, so my parents were not surprised and had no issues.
In my experience, the less you talk about it the better. Just start doing it. If they're going to babysit, provide them with user-friendly CDs (pockets or AIOs) and they'll just have to use them. Show them how easy they are and how different they are from a generation ago. They'll likely come around.
