We have twins on both sides of our family. My grandma was a twin, Joe's brother has twins. I hear that the longer you wait the more likey you are to have twins yourself?

I wouldnt mind and actually would think it would be pretty great to have a boy and a girl....but the chances of that.....who knows.

 Who has twins on both sides and has twins or is pregnant with twins now?

I believe there's a post a little ways down from cands that asked who has family history of twins.....

For the record, family history only matters on your side as it would cause you to produce multiple eggs, leading to fraternal twins (the only kind that could be boy/girl).  Identicals are always by chance!

We do have history of twins on both sides and have fraternal girls now.

Haveing fraternal twins can be passed down through your side of the family but identical twins are completely coincidnetal - could happen to anyone.  Good luck - twins are truly a blessing but they are a lot of work too.

We have fraternal twins on my side and DH's side (he was a twin) and now I'm having twins.  We also used Clomid, though, so it's hard to say how we got them.  We're just so happy that we did!!
