Quick question about clothing.

Hello ladies. Let me start by saying that I know everyone is different but I thought what better place to ask a bunch of experienced woman all at one time?

 I am due to have my first child in early Oct. However I am a BM in a wedding about 7 weeks after my due date.

 My question is since I have to order the dress months in advance, would you lean towards ordering a maternity BM dress? Or any other style? I realize that what ever I choose can be altered, but I also know that materniy have a little extra in the cut where it counts. I have no idea what my body will be like next months more or less in Nov. Any thoughts or opions would be helpful.

i think all women are different, but at 4 weeks pp (tomorrow), i'd be just fine fitting into a non-maternity dress....with the help from spanx, of course!

I guess it depends on the type of dress overall but I would not order a maternity dress.

I would just go up one size. Although, if you are BFing maybe a two sizes depending on what your breasts do to help give you more room in the bust. The sizing, to me, depends on if the dress is more forgiving or not.

Thanks for the input. I should have mentioned that I'm not afraid of some spanx support.

By ordering a non-maternity dress I would always order it larger and have it taken in should I need it.

 Thanks again for the advice. I didn't even think about the tatas!

I agree about ordering a couple of sizes up. Even though your body may still be shaped differently, ordering maternity would probably make you look more like you're pregnant. I'm almost 8 weeks now and I'm 1-2 sizes larger on bottom and 1 size larger on top. Good luck and congratulations!
