If you have switched from whole to 2% milk, a ??

Did it cause your LO to have a sudden onset of diarrhea?  

It didn't dawn on me until last night when DH and I were wondering what could have caused it.  

DS has done fine on whole milk, but i'm really wondering if it's the combo of whole/2% that is messing him up.  Our pedi told us to switch him to 2% b/c he doesn't need the fat/calories from the whole anymore, he's a huge kid!!

I'm doing the braty diet and bumping up his probiotic intake in hopes to kick this.  We have a 4 hour airplane ride tomorrow, that + diarrhea = not so fun times

We have not had the problem with diarrhea related to whole / 2% milk, though we have tried both.  I know that when he drinks more milk than usual and eats less than usual he does get significantly looser.  Yuck yuck yuck.

Regarding diarrhea on the airplane though, my son had an awful bought on a 14-hour flight.  I changed 7 poopy diapers in those awful bathroom (make sure you find the one with the changing table).  He went through 3 outfits as well.  Just in case, if you're still worried tomorrow, I would bring along:

• Extra outfits for him
• Plastic bags for poopy diapers (otherwise those bathrooms really smell)
• Plastic bags for poopy clothes
• An extra outfit for you (yes I used mine)
