What IS this?

I'm having a pinching like pain in my vaginal area that comes and goes.  It only lasts a second or two at a time, and happens more often when I'm laying down (although does also occur when sitting/standing).  It's irregular and my back doesn't constantly hurt nor does my belly tighten so I don't think it's true "labor pains".

I'm kinda at a loss because with my daughter I went 42 wks before they induced me and they still had to break my water and do everything because she did NOT want to come.  I feel like I don't really "KNOW" what the true signs of the beginning of labor is.  Everyone just seems to say, "You'll know it when it happens".  But will I??

Anyone else have this pinching pain?  If so, what did it lead to - good lord don't tell me NOTHING.  I'm so ready to have these babies...plus it's my birthday today!

I'm sorry I cant help with the pain, I am in the same boat and went through the same type of experience with my DD. It's sad, but I feel so many different aches, pains and movement, I have no idea if I have had Braxton hicks or contractions. Everything kind of feels similar to me or I write it off as nothing because I'm not positive it was something. Sorry I am no help. Good Luck.

I had the same exact pinching pains in that area too! Dont know what it was... i just thought it was all the pressure...? it didnt lead to ptl for me or anything bad. If you are really curious, just ask your OB!
