Maybe it's 'cause I grew up in the cold northeast, but I just don't understand sunning. Does it really get out stains? How? Wouldn't heat from the sun actually set the stain? I'm confused...
Its worked great on all diapers except the GroVia inserts for us. I'm not sure why.
Babywearing, cloth diapering, formula and breastmilk feeding, still can't believe I'm a mom, momma to my little man, two furbabies, and two angel babies.
Yup, I "sun" our diapers indoors nearby a window even during overcast days and we aren't exactly a sunny state.
I heard GroVia tend to hold stains more because their cotton is organic & untreated, I noticed that our GroVia do pick up stains easier than other brands, but so far had no problem sunning them out.

hmm... wonder why... worked fine on my grovia's... i just sunned them yesterday...
but i'm also in az... the sun might be a little more harsh out here, less clouds, etc...
ah... well that explains it... the uv index is higher down where i'm at...

Yup. We have a ton of sun, but I used to sun mine indoors on the windowsill and it worked like a charm.
Now I sun them on the weekend, since we have a clothesline.
I have one stain on one of my BG that isn't sunning out... I may need to treat it with lemon juice.
Yes it really gets out stains, even in the cold northeast. I sun indoors, and it still works.
There's heat, and then there's sun. Sun has a bleaching action that works great for CDs.
