Did anyone else LO not like hypoallergenic formula at first?
DS hates the taste of Alimentum. I'm only going to use it to supplement but if I don't make it a year BF he will be on it. I tried half BM half formula and 3/4 BM 1/4 formula and he makes a face, cries and pushes it away. Anyone else have this problem and how long did it take for LO to drink it??

have you tried warming it up? dd doesn't mind it at room temp. but i think she likes it better when its heated up a bid.
Ok, sorry, chiming in late here but I don't bump at night and wanted to offer some input...
Were you using the Alimentum powder mix? DS hated the powder- like, gagged, made faces and wouldn't eat it. That crap smells nasty, I can't blame him. I got some of the ready to pour Alimentum and he took that just fine. You might want to try that if you haven't already. It's much more expensive than the powder, so we've been able to transition him to the powder by doing 1/2 ready to pour, and 1/2 powder mix in his bottles. He now takes the powder mix just fine. Hope that helps!
DD is on nutramigen and had the same reaction.
She got used to it though. It took about a week.
It took a few days for LO to adjust to the hypoallergenic formula. We started off with just a little formula and mostly breast milk. Now his bottles are half formula half breast milk and he takes them just fine. He will also take just straight hypoallergenic forumla also if he is still hungry after his bottle. So give it a few days and he should adjust.
