Edema

Hi.  I'm 31 weeks pregnant with twins.  I've had swollen feet and ankles all day.  I've noticed that it is pitting edema, which has me a little concerned.  Other than the swelling, I feel fine. Did anyone else have pitting edema that turned out to be nothing?

Yup. I had pitting edema up into my back. No pre-E. Carried to term. Babies and myself are all fine! Here's a pic of one of my legs on a good day. It was ugly and I could barely walk.

I had my girls early.... but my feet/ankles looked exactly like this.  I normally wore a 7.5 shoe...and the only shoes I could get my feet into were from Payless, and they were a size 10!  It took a while before all the swelling finally went away.....  and it was soooo painful.  It would hurt to stand ....

I do not miss the swelling. It was awful and yeah it took WEEKS until I could fit my feet back into my normal sized shoes!

I thought I was the only one who looked like that!  Oh, the swelling...that was the only bad thing about being pregnant, for me.  I suddenly feel better that others had the same thing, though
