I have been ttc for a few months just started temping last month. I was really hopeful this month but this morning I got a huge temp drop at 12 dpo. I know that there are a few factors that can affect it. I was hoping that it was because I lowered the temp in house and wore nothing to bed. But I know that it shouldn't make that much of a difference. Has anyone had a huge drop and still ended up with a BFP? I know till AF comes I have hope but I'm really feeling it right now.
TIA
Re: 12 dpo huge temp drop still a chance?
Not sure if there is a purpose in temping if you do things like lower the temp in the house and sleep naked some nights....?
Take an early predictor test. Nobody else here will have any better answers for you.
If it was implantation, tomorrow might be too early to get a BFP. I had a temp drop on 3/8 and it went back up on 3/9. I POAS with FMU on 3/9 and got a very very faint line. So it's possible, but if you do POAS tomorrow and its BFN, I still wouldn't say you're out.
My chart was very similar last month, my temp rose for ovulation and then climbed up and then dropped again and then rose and stayed up. Keep taking it every morning and see what happens. My second cycle of taking my temp was my BFP cycle! Good luck to you!!!!
12 DPO is extremely late for implantation, which usually occurs between 7-10 days after O. It is normal to have temperature variances during your cycle, whether you are or are not pregnant, and not necessarily be indicative of an implantation dip. At 12DPO you have over a 60% likelihood of an accurate result on an HPT.
