My RE clinic offers a class that teaches us how to give shots for IVF/IUI.  We just got back from it and not only did we learn so much - but it was sooo nice being in a room with 4 other couples who were also on the same page as us.  We all had so much fun together and laughed about how "inexperienced" we all were at giving ourselves shots.  One girl even joked around b/c she kept messing up and said "were screwed".  It was just very refreshing.  I wanted to become best friends with them all - its been such a long time since I have felt like I had something in common with a group of couples our age.

When the class was over we all said "good luck" to each other and it made me so happy:)

I'm glad you had a positive experience!  Maybe you will see some of the girls for morning monitoring?  It would be nice to have a familiar face.

That's great!  I bet it was a world of difference to be sat in a room where *everyone* can relate to you.  What a change, huh?

I always wanted to chat with the girls coming in for monitoring the same time as my IVF, but it just never happened.
