looking for website that determines hair color

yesterday I saw a cool website that someone posted on here about determining what eye color your kids will have ..I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a site about haircolor...

I don't know if you can really determine hair color. A bunch of kids in my fam were born with really dark hair that fell out and came in blonde. DD's hair was really dark but has lightened to a dirty blonde. Both my paretns have dark hair and I was born with and still have blonde hair.

The website for eye color just gives odds, it doesn't tell you exactly what color your babies eyes will be. I'm no scientist, but I think I remember from high school bio that the genes for hair color work differently, so I doubt you can determine hair color odds. Also, it's pretty common for babies to be born with one hair color, only to lose it all and have it come back darker/lighter, and for kids hair to lighten/darken as they grow. I was born with dark hair that turned strawberry blonde, and now it's brown. DD was born with dark hair that is now blonde.

Eye colour is one of the simplest things in genetics.  It's controlled by only one thing.  This makes it easy to determine odds.  In fact, eye colour is usually used to introduce the idea of genetic traits in high school here.  Hair colour is much more complicated, so I highly doubt there's a website out there that can calculate the odds of your baby having any hair colour.  And if there is one, I don't think it's going to be accurate.  But looking at your family history can help you get some idea (e.g. if nobody in either family is blonde, you're probably not getting a blonde baby).

^ That's not accurate.  Eye color is determined by multiple genes, and can be anywhere on the color spectrum between yours and the father's, or something else altogether.  It's not a trait you can use a Punnett square to figure out, like ear lobe attachment.
