when does the PP bleeding stop?

just curious for those who have had their babies already - how long did you bleed for? I'm 10 days PP and still bleeding like a light period.

I think I bled for a few weeks, like a light period.  I think 10 days pp is very normal!

i expect to bleed for some time i suppose it's just wishful thinking! i got very comfortable with no bleeding for 9 months haha

I had bleeding for about a week and I was still sore and it hurt me if I walked for a long time. Then I just had discharge and it almost completely stopped by 3 weeks. Towards the end it was just very light brown and I used panty liners.

my bleeding was never really heavy, but it lasted about 10 days. theres still some light discharge now, so i'm just down to pantyliners.  now i just need to pay attention to when the period will start. booo

Mine stopped at 3 weeks but was pretty light after 2 weeks.

It will be 3 weeks for me on Thursday and I'm still getting really light bleeding, I never had really heavy bleeding, though. Sometimes it will seem like it's stopping, and then start up really light again which I've heard happens. Hoping it will stop soon!

I'm so glad you asked this queston because I kept reading 7 days and was worried. Today will be day 10 and it's still a light period - somewhat brownish. I'm happy to hear that's normal!

it can last up to 6 weeks

Mine lasted one week both times and was extremely light after day 2. It can supposedly last up to 6 weeks, which is still considered normal.

I was one of the lucky ones that had a full 6 weeks of bleeding! I am kind of just expecting it again this go around.  Sigh.

This is what my doctor told me as well. I'm 13 days pp and I'm still lightly bleeding.

I am 5 weeks and mine has turned into a very light discharge brownish in color...ill be happy when I don't have to wear a panty liner anymore!

I'm 9 days pp and i am still bleeding.  It is still pretty red but light I'm guessing it will be awhile longer.  I just wish I wasn't sore down there.

It stopped at 2.5 weeks. I still have spotting everyonce in a while though.

Bleeding lasted about a week, but I still have lots of brownish discharge. I'm not breastfeeding.
