Adoption update

So we went to an info meeting with a local agency tonight and loved this agency. We really connected with them and they made us feel so welcome. They have been around for 24 years and it's nice to hear that it was founded by a woman who adopted and most of their employees have also adopted. The lady who gave our meeting tonight adopted through the agency and then after going to support meetings there she was offered a job and has been there 8 years. We are checking out another agency next month since I made that appt already just to make sure we are making the right decision to stick with the agency from tonight. I also was happy to hear if by some miracle I get pg on my own while we are waiting on a match with the agency they let us stay active or we can decide to put our application on hold, but the decision is up to us.

    IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11

    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
    BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
    6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    I am so glad you connected with this agency, and that you feel good going forward. The fact that they let you stay active even while PG is awesome.

    Hugs!  I know the decision to move onto adoption was hard, but I hope it helps you achieve your family goals and dreams! 
    Forever buddy to Angelica; Natural Miscarriage Jan. 2008 @ 11 weeks; 2 years of BFFN's; DX: Unexplained IF (RE thinks IF is due to tubal issues); IUI #1 & 2= BFFN; IUI#3 = BFP, resulted in Cornual ectopic pregnancy; IUI #4 - 6 =BFFN; Our next endeavor... IVF. 1 grade AA embryo transferred on 4-23-2011 and 5 frosties. BFP Abby born 1/5/2012

    such great news you connected so well with this agency! When we were starting the process of finding an agency I was so disappointed with 2 agencies (one just from a phone call) that we put looking on hold for awhile. It has to feel right from the beginning. good luck!
    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011
