So how many drinks does it take you to get drunk?

My friend has got to be the biggest light weight I've ever met. We went out for lunch yesterday while shopping and she had one pina colada and she was definitely buzzed half way through. It was very funny to watch.  

Me? I don't drink often, but I can still handle a few.

    depends.

    takes about 5-6 beers

    1 bottle of wine

    mixed drinks... its hard to tell because the alcohol content varies.

    Probably 4-5 beers (though I rarely drink that much beer), a bottle of wine, two and a half martinis, or like 4-5 mixed drinks like G&T or rum and Coke.

    I'm a mega lightweight too.  A couple of good margaritas or a top-shelf Long Island and I'm spent.

     

    Batman likes to watch cartoons on the weekends. Whatever.

    Right now, probably one cherry vodka sour and I would be buzzed. But I have had one drink since I got pregnant with Jake.

    I'm a light weight as well. I swear I can drink one of those fruity drinks, like a Parrot Bay, and feel buzzed.

    1 1/2 beers

    2 glasses of wine or prosecco

    I had a tolerance when I lived in New Oleans, but ever since I have been a pathetic lightweight.

    It depends on what it is.  I usually start to feel it around halfway through the first mixed drink (especially if it's loaded with alcohol) if I haven't had a drink in awhile.  I'm usually drunk by the 3rd drink depending on how I pace myself.

    I don't really drink that much, though, so that could be a factor.

    I had two of the mini four pack bottles of wine once and woke up a few hours later on the kitchen floor. I'm a super cheap date.

    Sounds like some people have it down to a science. :)

    I don't handle booze well and I'd rather just not drink in public to not humiliate myself. I'd rather have a giant piece of cake than a drink on most days though.

    It depends.  I'm a complete lightweight after being pg and then BFing the first time around.  Usually 1 drink gave me a short buzz and 2 had me pretty tipsy.  I only expect it to get worse.
