irregular tremor?

Aiden's neuro now thinks his most recent shaking spells are irregular tremors. Does anyone have experience with this?  We are starting a carnitine rx in the next day or so, bc he has low levels of carnitine...but the neuro doesnt know if it will help with tremors.  He also doesnt know a specific cause for it...since Aiden has so much other stuff going on (starting the process of ruling out other things from LP a couple weeks ago...and probably will do testing Mito in the future.)  I am just curious of dx of things that cause tremors in young children, tx, prognosis.  Thanks!
