? about IVF trigger

Hi ladies, I'm taking Novarel tonight for a thurs ER.:) The nurse in the office showed me how to do it. This afternoon when they called they asked if I knew how to do 5,000 iu? I said nope, only 10,000. I think I get it (she explained it over the phone). Anyway, I asked why it was 5,000. She said once the estrogen level gets high (she said over 4,000), they have you do 5,000 iu. So I'm assuming my estrogen was over 4,000. We didn't really have too much time to talk. Have you heard of this? I still don't really understand why. I'm just getting nervous now.

I've seen half dose triggers and lupron triggers on the board, but have not ever been at risk myself.

Ahhhh...thanks E. I'm gonna ask the RE in the morning while I'm getting my sono and b/w, but I know this board is so helpful too!
