I didn't want to jack the preschool thread, but thought you should know that the co-op school DD goes to will have (3) 2s classes, (2) 3s classes & (1) 4s/preK class next year (right now there are (2) 4s classes.)

I believe the 3s classes are the toughest to get into. Not every preschool has a 2s program and there are 2 children in DD's class that are going to other schools (that don't have 2s) next year.

One of the reasons we did the 2s class is so we wouldn't have to worry about where she would be for 3s.

  • Is there anyone you can ask?  someone who already has a kiddo @ the co-op you are looking at?

  • I haven't even started! :shame: I didn't even realize that preschools started at 2 until I was looking in the Chesapeake Family magazine and saw that some schools did start at 2.  I know that some ladies at the church that I used to go to did a preschool co-op but all of their kids are older.  I really need to get moving on this.  Are there any that you recommend looking into?

  • I am not sure where you live- in Annapolis there is only one co-op. Colonial. https://www.colonialnurseryschool.org/  I think there is a co-op preschool in Edgewater.  https://www.mayonurseryschool.com/

There is a non-co-op school in Crownsville that starts at 3 that you might want to check out as well-

  • I meant to reply the other day and say thank you.  I will check those out.  (We live about 10 minutes or so from BWI but Annapolis is only a 15/20 min drive from our house).

I will be honest that the main reason why I am interested in a co-op is bc I am not ready to leave him yet.  I do however like the idea of us going and doing "school" together 1-2x per week.
