Heading to meet with OB, armed with questions...

I'm going for a preconception appointment. I am armed with questions about VBACs and very excited. Anything you can think of that I should try and mention?

Agree with the above questions for sure!  Here are a few suggestions...

1. Listen for bait and switch comments like, "Well, we'll just wait and see when you get closer to your due date."  Follow up those comments with more specific questions, so you're not left wondering about their answer.
2. Ask if the hospital has any restrictions or policies regarding VBACs (monitoring, interventions, etc).  Because these can override your VBAC-friendly OB's calls during your labor.
3. If I reach the maximum alloted time past my EDD, do you offer gentle inductions (membrane stripping, foley catheter, low-dose pitocin, etc)? 
4. If you haven't already, find out if there is a doula he prefers to work with, assuming you even want a doula... Though I HIGHLY recommend having a doula for your labor.
