motherhood maternity

hi,

anyone shop at the motherhood  maternity store in smithfield?  i have a gift card and want to get a dress for my shower, but i can't really shop online cause i really need to try things on this  new body!  i was just wondering if anyone has had any luck there.  or if the pea in a pod store in garden city?

I shopped there last year when I was pregnant. I bought capris, shorts, t-shirts, dresses and bathing suits there.

I did quite a bit of shopping there throughout my pregnancy and had very good luck.  The saleswoman was always very helpful to me as well with finding sizes.

Haven't been to the Smithfield one, but I've had good luck at the one in Attleboro and at the Tanger outlets in CT. Pea in a pod is like 2x more expensive than Motherhood, and I don't see the point in spending a lot of money on maternity clothes that I won't be wearing more than a few months.

I love that store! they always have new things too.  A pea in the pod is very expensive

Maternity clothes are hard no matter what price you spend because it's "temporary wear". 

I have both A Pea in the Pod clothes and Motherhood Maternity clothes. In my opinion: A Pea in the Pod clothes are made out of better material and fit much better. I hate my clothes from Motherhood...some are falling apart (fading, pilling) already. They are both owned by the same company...one is viewed as more "affordable". I shopped at Belly Dance Maternity in NYC with my last pregnancy...so A Pea in the Pod isn't bad with their prices at all comparing. 

You can find great sales at A Pea in the Pod in Garden City. I don't see too much of a difference in price (from Motherhood Maternity).
