Can I ask a sincere question about tickers?

Why do some women have 2 or more tickers for the same pregnancy? I've always wondered this and have just never asked.

Someone asked last week and they all said they're just excited.

I'm excited too, as I was with DD, but I don't see the need for multiple tickers for one event. If you want the different information, get the weekly emails.

I am assuming because of the different images...baby as fruit, baby size/look in reality. Or maybe they're just excited.

I only had one ticker but added another one yesterday. One says the size of the baby and the other whats going on. I don't check my emails regularly and I'm on the bumo more so I added two tickers now.

I guess I can understand the different kinds of tickets - baby development, and fruit size. I'll concede to that.

The ones with 3+ annoy me, but those are few and far between and are usually on baby-gaga.com.

I know, it's annoying. I saw someone recently with 5 tickers. Okay, we get it, you're 5 weeks pregnant. Ugh.

Funny thing is about 2 years ago on here if you had more than one ticker you would have been totally called out and snarked on. I haven't seen too many crazy comments on tickers so I suppose that crew and mentality has moved on. Although I must admit my unpopular opinion on having 3 tickers for the same baby is annoying. On the other hand do what you want if its your first baby go ahead and be as excited and ticker crazy as you want.

Hell...right now I can't add a new pregnancy ticker because of an error code.

Every time I see multiple tickers, I always check the progress on each of them. The best is when they are further along in one ticker than the other!

I just have one, but I can understand that the different representations are cool to look at. I just bookmark those & if I want to look at them I go to the bookmark. Its also easier to read posts when you don't have to scroll through the super long signature, IMHO. I understand the excitement, but you can create a webpage or something to display that many tickers so you can look at them all at the same time.

If it makes you happy, I guess. Its just not my style.

Because I like seeing all the different pictures/info, and it makes it easier for me to see it all at once lol.

It doesn't take up too much space tho.

If I were able to add a ticker, I'd just do the developmental one and then look at others who have the fruit one (or vice versa)....I mean--there are lots of people due the same week as you, right?

i love all your tickers!

i'm not really sure why people make the biggest deal about stupid stuff on the 1st trimester board.

i have my tickers because i am proud to be the mother to my daughter, i am proud to be married to my husband and i am simply ecstatic to be having another baby considering i was told i would never have children.
