We are expecting our first in Sept and I will be CDing. My sister-in-law uses Sunbaby and she absolutely loves them. Have any of you used them? Any experiences you'd like to share?
We have 1 sunbaby, and a few sunny baby diapers (both ebay). The sunbaby diapers run a bit small and don't fit DS very well any more. He's tall and skinny, and still can fit medium bum genius diapers. I will probably be getting a few for #2 since they will fit really well for a while but know they won't last until potty training. The sunny baby diapers are of similar quality but bigger and might be too big/bulky on a younger baby but I'm a huge fan of them for DS.
The first versions totally were the worst diapers I have ever tried but someone here said they changed so I ordered one of her prints. I love it and will probably buy more. I have a few diapers from Ebay and like them all, I just got one in the mail yesterday with carrots on it for Easter lol

I have a dozen of 4.0s, and I like them. My DD is 12 lbs, and it fits her the best out of all the OS- I guess it means they do run small like PP said.
I like that they are cheap, has tons of cute prints (IMO) and trim fitting. However, I think their insert quality isn't all that great, and I definitely would not use them at night.
I can't comment on durability since we've only had maybe 4 wash cycles on them, but I am going to just air dry them out each time to maximize their life. HTH!
I LOVE SunBaby 4.0 CDs. It took about 3 weeks to get them (from China with love). I have spent almost 4 years trying to find what I like and this is it. They make CDing cheap (which I think the purpose is). I use them on two children and it's so nice to know that with a quick snap it will fit either one. DD is scrawny at 19 pounds with plenty of growing room, so I could see that if you had an older child that was big and still wearing diapers, they could possibly get too small. It took about two weeks before they fit DS2 (@7.5 lbs.) without looking completely silly big. I do wish I had more trim newborn size diapers, because in the early weeks he had gone through 12-24 each day so I would have had to buy that many newborn CDs and that wasn't in my budget when I didn't know how long he would wear them for. He doesn't wear newborn size clothes because the diaper is so big, but that generally goes with any age in CDs. I have only been using them for a month, but I still like them and the cute prints. DD has leaked at the leg gussets (w/ 1 insert) with diarrhea and once at night after 11 hours, but I think that should be expected with any diaper. I'm with your SIL. My only problem is I want the new prints as they become available.
