32 weeks - spotting? TMI (XP from 3rd tri)

I had a few drops of bright red spotting after going to the bathroom this AM and I *might* have started to lose my mucous plug. I've had BH contractions for a few months now but nothing painful. I've read that this happens sometimes when your body is just starting to get ready but with my first I never dilated or thinned out in the least so I kind of assumed my cervix would be iron-clad this time as well, especially this early. Anybody else experience this? Thanks.

No experience with spotting, but I hope it's nothing too serious. I had a c-section with my first and only dilated to 3 cm and thinned to 75%. I assumed my second labor would take forever, but it was less than 12 hours from start to finish and I had VBAC. Each pregnancy is different.

Call your OB. Nothing else will put your mind at rest unless you talk to them, or see them, first.

I don't have any experience with this but I know that every appointment, my OB asks me if anything has changed and whether I've had any spotting. So, I would call your OB to get their input.

Ditto pps--call your OB. Could be nothing, could be a risk factor for preterm labor. No way to really know without talking to/seeing your OB. I'd be high tailing it there but I had my first very unexpectedly at 32 weeks. Hopefully it's nothing but with stuff like this, I'd rather make the call than not.

I had some spotting at about 32 weeks and ended up on bedrest for three weeks and then delivered after my water broke at 36 weeks. Not to scare you, but I'd call my OB in that situation just to get checked out.
