Possible to have too diverse a stash?

I know that everyone has their preferences when it comes to CDs and not all diapers work on all babies so I've been planning on trying out a bunch of different diapers to see what works best, but is it possible to go overboard with the diversity? 

Here is what I have so far:

12 Indian prefolds

6 KL0s

2 Thirsties xs covers (hook and loop)

2 Flip OS covers (snap)

3 BG3 small AIOs (hook and loop)

3 BG3 OS (hook and loop)

2 BG4 OS (hook and loop) Artistry series (so cute!!)

1 BG4 OS (snap)

3 bamboo contours (from Swaddlebees) size 1

2 Blueberry OS (hook and loop)

2 Blueberry OS covers (1 snap, 1 hook and loop)

4 Kissaluvs fleece inserts

33 homemade fleece inserts

2 Bumboo fitteds size 2

Am I going overboard here?  I keep snapping up clearance and sale items which is what started me on this path!

I'm no CDing expert but I think your stash looks great.  If you think that is diverse you should see mine.  I wanted to be very diverse about it because I didn't want to wait until our LO was here and figured I could sell off or trade what didn't work for me.  I have every type of brand and type you could think of.

The only disadvantage that I've heard and come across is educating DH on how to use them.  Mine had a diffiuclt time telling what needed a cover and what did not.  He learned that hard way a few times!

It's funny you say this - I was JUST thinking about this earlier today!  I can totally see him forgetting a cover and having a mess on our hands

My DH is finally up to speed, but you can always have a special section of dipes just for him to use...one basket if you sort in baskets...sometimes I think mine is too diverse, but it is not worth it to me to sell and buy new...I do sometimes trade, though.  :-D

I feel like we underestimate our husbands a lot on this board and on this topic general. 

But anyway, I have a diverse stash and I love it. I have them sorted into piles for what is best for nighttime, outings, etc. 

Having a diverse stash is also useful when it comes to educating or helping other people with CDing/their stashes, as well as preparing for future babies and helping to not buy frivolously (because even though our stashes are complete, we still buy more diapers!)
