progesterone users...

So i'm told to stop using the progesterone (vaginally, each night before bed), at the 12 week mark, which is this saturday. i'm slightly nervous about this. should i be?

Nah, I think you're fine.  I was told to stop them this Sunday, but I had a threatened miscarriage and will continue to use them until 8 or 9 weeks.  If your doctor's is not concerned, you'll be fine.

Yep, 12w is normal.

 

My doc stopped mine at 11 because I had my levels tested a few times and they were fantastic, plus I had already had my u/s and baby was perfect. I'm glad because (a) they're messy as sh*t, and (b) they're pricey (my insurance doesn't cover).

amen to the "messy" comment. i like to refer to them as my "sticky situation"

EXCITED to stop, just hopeful that all is still well. my u/s last week, my little peanut was perfect!!!! i'm so excited to be moving out of the 1st trimester soon!

My OB wants me to use them throughout the first trimester.  I call it "assuming the position" because I try to lay down for at least 45-60 minutes after insertion.  Helps minimize the mess.
