I was just thinking about you today too.  I hope things are going a little better for you!

  • No change with the Gentlease and Prilosec.

They never tested him for the protein allergy and truthfully I totally spaced on talking to the pedi about that. Dangit. We had an x-ray for him to check his bowls and stomach and everything looked great there, which is what we hoped for. Although, it would have probably been cheaper to test him for the milk allergy then the xray first, lol. We did, however, put him on soy now so we are going to see if that works and if it doesn't in a few days then we will just move over to the Nutramigen anyways. She was going to have us put him on Nutramigen right away but I wanted to try everything else before that so when we submit a request to cover the formula to the insurance company they won't, hopefully, deny it. Although, I am sure a test saying he has a milk protein allergy would make sure they say yes....ugh, wish I would have remember to ask her about that! Oh well...

Sooner or later we will get something figured out!!

Thanks for keeping us in mind!

I am glad things went well with the X-ray and that you have a plan.  I hope LO starts to feel better! Good Luck.

Thank you for thinking of me! Things are going so much better. The formula is working great and LO is no longer constipated! The zantac is working for his reflux, the only challenge is getting him to take the medicine! Sometimes, he spits it out, so know I just have to catch him off guard!!

Are you able to put it in his bottle? We had the liquid form and it was recommended to us by the pharmacist to put it in the bottle since it had a really strong peppermint taste.

Awesome to hear that your LO is doing better though!! I bet there is a big breath of fresh air in your house!
