XP: Our crappy weekend!

So twin A and twin B feel the need to suck the life out of thier mother! I have been so sick the last 5 weeks and finally thursday and friday I was beyond sick. My doctor ordered Home Health care to come to our house and set up and IV and Zofran pump.

I got to take the IV out yesterday after 48 hours (by myself yuck) but I will have the Zofran pump another 2 weeks or so. Good times let me tell you! Feeling better just mentally and physically drained. Just thought I would share our exciting weekend with you guys!

Anyone been this sick with your multiples?  Have a great day!

Mine are life sucking but fortunately I only actually puke once every other day or so.  I just don't feel like eating much....I feel like a deadbeat mom/wife becuase it's all I can do to get through the work day.  By the time I get home I can't muster up enough energy to get into the kitchen to cook or to clean.  Managed to sort laundry this weekend and got 2 loads done but again, no energy to fold and put away.  But hey, they are clean!  Saturday was a very rough day, but then yesterday and so far today not qutie as bad.  I'm hoping the fog is slowly lifting as I get closer to that magical 2nd tri!  I hope the Zofran continues to help you, and that you get relief sooner rather than later!

I was VERY sick beginning week 6.  It began to get a little better week 10 or so.  I still have bad days mixed in with my good days, but it's much better than I was!  I felt like a hungover zombie everyday and night.  (Nights were awful---every time I got up to pee, it took me forever to fall back asleep because I would toss and turn from being so nauseous.)  Zofran helped (I'm still on it) but when the m/s was BAD, the Zofran didn't take it away completely.  I hope you are feeling better soon.  Know that you are not alone, and it does get better!

Yes! I have been also really sick this past week. I started piling my guts out at 3am and next day (which was a Sunday) I went to the urgent care bc I was throwing up and nauseas. I was put on an IV for 45 minutes bc they said I was super dehydrated. Mind you, I'm pumping 10-14oz of milk in one sitting! I got to start drinking more water. It was a terrible 2 days and I couldn't even get out of bed. On top of it all the dehydration was accompanied by a stomach virus I got from DH that's why I was throwing up but luckily I'm better now, ofcourse with a whole other painful issue now..:-( I hope you feel better soon bc I know how it feels!
