RE: Failed hearing test

My phone is not letting me respond to you guys on the earlier post I created (?). I just wanted to tell you guys THANK YOU for the encouraging words and advice. It makes me feel so much better and gives me an idea of what our 'plan' should be. Apollo has developed a rash and my doctor friend commented that hearing/rash is sometimes symptoms of a mother having a CSV infection. I have not willed myself to research it and am waiting to talk to my doctor tomorrow. If you know anything about it, though, I'd much prefer it here than via Google! :) Thanks again, everyone!

    I am not sure what CSV infections are but hearing loss can be associated with CMV - cytomeglavirus.  A very common infection that gives mono like symptoms and usually no big deal unless the first infection occurs when pregnant.  The virus can cross to the baby.  Most common observed effect is unilateral hearing loss.
