I was just wondering what you all thought. I have posted previoulsy. I had a miscarriage on Wed of last week at 9 weeks. I started my medicine Wed night. Passed some stuff including the sac on Thursday. Went back to the doc on Fri. and the u/s showed I had not passed everything. So we did another round of medicine Friday night. And I passed more yesterday(Sat) and my bleeding slowed down. Still passing a little bit of stuff today. But still light bleeding.
What concerns me is I started running a temp at noon today. A low one. 100.4 when I checked it. I never get sick or run a fever. I have no other symptoms. Except just achy all over. And I have been having some soreness in my butt and inner thigh region. Which is usually what I have the first day of AF. But I think I might be feeling it more today because I have not taken an ibuprofen. I did take advil for the fever at 1:00.
I called the on call doc at the hospital and he was not concerened. He said to call my doc in the morning and let her know. I have another u/s tomorrow and meet with my doc again.
Should I be concerened about the fever or try not to worry about it. I have just worried about infection. I dont want to mess anything up in my uterus. To hurt my chances of getting pregnant again.
Any advice would be Appreciated. Thanks ladies. Sorry its so long.
Praying this LO keeps growing!!!

I am sorry for your loss.
I would be concerned that your fever could indicate that you have an infection. After my m/c, I was told that I was at risk for infection above all other things at that time.
Sorry you have to go through this.
I agree that you need to be worried about a possible infection. I hate that you are having to deal with this on top of your loss. I would demand your doctor take your signs seriously and give you some antibiotics honestly. Unless the doctor can prove without a doubt that your fever is being caused by something else.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Keep us posted. I hope it turns out to be nothing.

For my first miscarriage I found out on a Thursday during my ultrasound that I had lost the baby. I had a d&c scheduled for Monday and on Saturday I started running a low grade fever and felt achy. I thought I was just coming down with something and cursed my luck for getting sick and miscarrying at the same time. I was also afraid they wouldn't do my procedure because of the fever.
However, they went ahead with surgery since my fever was low grade and I was not congested. Then the surgery was over my fever was gone. The nurse in recovery told me they thought it was just my body's way of dealing with the miscarriage because your body has to recognize the baby as a foreign object to start to expell it. But I don't think this is a common thing to happen. You are the only other story I've heard about a fever during miscarriage.
Unfortunately, I've now had 2 miscarriages and the fever did not happen with my second one.
So I guess, long story short, is that it could just be your body's way of dealing with the miscarriage. However, since you have an appointment tomorrow you can fill your doctor in and during the examination and ultrasound he/she should be able to let you know if there is an infection going on or something else to be worried about. But until then, I'd just try and ride it out unless it started to get too high or other symptoms began.

I had an infection with my m/c. For me, my temp was around 102 and I felt achy in ALL muscles with fatigue and in general just feeling horrible. Mine started the day I started to miscarry so they didn't release me from the hospital until the next day when they confirmed I passed everything. It then took over a week with 3 antibiotics before my fever left. (of course I had dr visits in this time and one more ER visit). I'm not telling you to scare you, just to give you one example of how infection presents. Fortunately you already have an appt tomorrow, just keep your temp monitored until then and go into the ER if it gets worse. So sorry you're going through this.
