DIY BG Elastic Replacement

Has anyone here replaced the elastic in their BGs and have a good video or step by step instructions for doing it?  I have some 3.0's that need to be replaced and I have the refresher kit with their directions and I get that you cut the suedecloth to get the elastic out but where do you sew it back in?  Through the PLU?  I have confused myself. Thanks!
