I think I am in complete shock! Just found out Friday & I definately wasn't expecting that a little nausea not too much, I have been told I am in for double trouble How are you feeling? It must be nice to be coming toward the end of the first trimester.
Nice to meet you ladies! Glad I got some replies. I have twin siblings, but I think we are only having one as well ;] Wow I couldn't imagine having twins! Sounds amazing.
I am feeling good, we are just past 10 weeks right now. Next appointment is the 28th.
We should all get to know eachother ;] Its nice to have some ladies going through the same things!
My little CHD warrior.
Born 9/29/11.
Got his new heart 10/20/11
Wow, you work in Loveland? I can't find a job in this town to save my life! I just assumed everyone must work somewhere else
I envy you being almost through the first trimester. I haven't felt great, though I know some have it much worse. It's hard to get excited when you're constantly starving/queasy, so I'm just really looking forward to feeling normal again.

I agree it is neat to have people who can relate to where you are at. I have my next appointment on the 25th can't wait. It gives you that temporary feeling of relief & then I obsess until the next appointment! It will be nice to get past the first trimester & feel like its safer to finally share the news with EVERYONE
We're going in next Weds (23rd) for a "viability check." I was *pretty sure* I was 8-9 weeks when we had our first appt, but we only measured at 6 weeks 3 days! Bummer.
NP said if everything looks fine at 8 weeks, the risk of m/c drops to 7% and then we can start sharing the news. And none too soon, either, because my mom is coming next weekend, and I have a feeling she would guess it even if I didn't say anything. (Moms are so weird like that...)
Side note: Are any of you ladies using the Kaiser Rock Creek ob/gyn down in Lafayette?
Hello Ladies!! I live and work in FC and would love to make some new mama friends! I am not expecting right now but I have a son who is almost 14 months old. Email me if any of you want to plan a g2g. samama8 at gmail dot com
That sounds great I hope the move is a good one. I had my eight week ultrasound this morning, 2 gummy bears with perfect heartbeats, it feels nice to be able to breath again for a while. Hope everyone is doing good. Happy Friday
On the up side its a good thing you don't have too many ultrasounds as your not a high risk pregnancy. I love that I have frequent ultrasounds but I don't like that it's because of a high risk pregnancy. How great will that first ultrasound be for you!!! It must feel even better now that you are entering your second trimester
Live and Work in Fort Collins!!! Its great to see there are more pregnant women out there!!! We just found out we are pregnant!!! 6 Weeks, Excited but super worried!
Just wondering who your doctors are??? We are looking for a good one!

I live in Mead (just South of Berthoud) I used to live in both Fort Collins (1999-2002) and Loveland (2002-2005). I am currently just 6 weeks along with #3 and have my 'viability' ultrasound on 4/27... just 2 more days! I can't wait to find out if one or both embies took from our IVF cycle.
Wow, there's quite a group of us NoCo gals forming! Welcome I hope we can still find a time to all get together.
In response to the OB question, I'll put in my 2c, though it's probably not that helpful. I'm covered by Kaiser insurance, so we don't get to choose our doctors. But that said, I've been pleased so far with the NP we've seen twice at the Lafayette KP clinic, and the delivery will be at Exempla, which looks like a pretty nice, new hospital as well. We've seen a nice lady OB as well, but only for one very short visit. Apparently, the delivery doc will be whoever happens to be working (contrary to the "Knocked Up" perspective that you can shop around for a doc that will also be your delivery doc), but that may just be a Kaiser thing.
I'll also add, FWIW, that although I'm not crazy about Kaiser in general, the prenatal care has been better than expected in addition to being 100% covered. We haven't paid out of pocket for anything yet.
I've lived in FOCO since 04. Love it here! So nice to see so many ladies on here! My little man is 17 months (tomorrow) and we are TTC Baby #2!
Who are your DR's? We used Midwives last time and had a HORRIBLE time---The midwife I got stuck with made a few too many mistakes and I'd like to switch.
