Those who have a city select...

Are you happy with it? Do you live in an urban area with lots of uneven sidewalks/surfaces? Do you walk alot?

I was looking into a side by side all-terrain like the valco baby or the bumbleride, but I have been looking at the city select and really like its versatility. Just looking for some user reviews!! TIA

  • I am happy with the city select so far.  I keep the select in my car though.  I use it for errands, going to the gym, etc.  I have a BOB duallie as my all terrain stroller to take walks outside, at the park, etc.  I have taken the select to the dog park and it performed great.

  • I've only had mine a few weeks, but I used it for Mardi Gras and it performed beautifully on the horrendous sidewalks in uptown New Orleans.  To get it over the really big cracks (I'm talking bumps the size of the curb), I did have to put my foot on the back axle to pop the front wheels up.  It's definitely not an all-terrain stroller but it still handles great.

  • I LOVE my city select! I can't wait for the boys to be out of their car seats but we've gone on walks in the busy streets of NY and it's great! I also have a bobs duallie but haven't put them in there just yet...I don't think there big enough for it but I was also looking into the city mini...i've become addicted to strollers!lol
  • i have a Select and a Valco.  I use my Select almost every day for the past year.... The valco i only use for long days at the park, zoo, parades, etc.... it drives like a dream over bumpy terrain- but it's a PITA to fold up and get in/out of my car - so i would NEVER want it to be my only stroller.  If i could only have one- i'd have the select in a heartbeat.... it's great for almost all things- just not a jogger and while it's not perfect on bumpy terrain, it's not bad either.

  • I have the select and its my everyday stroller.  I use it every day to get the girls in and out of daycare.  I have used the seats a couple of times and love how the girls can face each other!
  • Thanks, Ladies!
