Does your LO rotate/spin in the crib?

Woke up to find DS in the opposite direction I put him down in last night,,,,,,,,,,guess he rolls around more than I realize.  He still hasn't rolled over from back to belly at night.  That should be fun........not

Re: Does your LO rotate/spin in the crib?

  • Yep... mine moves alllll over the crib. She's rotated almost 180 degrees before, and usually ends up at the bottom of the crib squished to the side. She's just an active sleeper.

  • My DD is a little houdini. I have her swaddled in an aden & anais blanket and have another blanket across her legs, secured on each side of the crib. Last night she squirmed under the lap blanket, came out on the other side and out of the swaddle. I was woken by her grunting while moving. How do they do this?

  • Yep, she's only been in the PnP a few nights. I'll put her down laying same direction as us in bed, and wake up and she's sideways kicking the edge of the crib. And she's swaddled. I don't get it. She's not rolled over yet but acting like she wants to really bad, maybe very soon.

  • My LO is a very active sleeper.  Every morning he's facing a new direction.  I think part of it is due to his PnP being elevated on one side so he sort of rolls down it.  He stills isn't rolling over yet either but he does roll to his side and gets stuck there.

  • YES!!!

Especially in her PNP which she sleeps in when we're at my rents' house.  She spun 90 degrees one night before she was even a month old.  I was shocked!  I had to ask everyone in my fam if they had moved her because she was so young.  I took the bassinet part out.  She's not quite 15 pounds yet but it was starting to cave in kind of.  I don't trust it.

  • Yup, she wiggles and usually ends up perpendicular to the position I put her in.
