Hi !
I'm an ex-bumpy returning to my roots...used to be on the photography board (until it spun off and started a few others) a lot and I decided it is probably best to not annoy the crap out of the people in my life with pregnant rambings/fears, and maybe might find comfort in the like-minded souls here.
Abridged version: had baby fever really intensely (it's so hard not to with my profession!), got my IUD out Feb 2nd, and never had a period...was concerned my lady parts were not functioning...then 2 days ago in the car, I actually had to unbutton my jeans in a traffic jam because they were turning me into a sausage. So bloated.
So...I test, BFP, I ovulated around the beginning of the month, so super early on. I guess I am really worried that since I didn't have a period for 2 years, that this little bean may not stick with me... It's so hard not to be excited. Has anyone here had any experience with the whole "IUD out, immediately knocked up" thing? I would love to hear it...
I'm 25, a photographer, mother one 1 little girl who is 2 1/2.
Can't wait to know you all
Re: intro/rant/allay my fears?
I guess what I mean is, should I be worried that my uterine lining is nonexistent and maybe not the most hospitable to an egg?
I know I just need to relax and what will happen, will happen...
Currently weaning myself off my morning quad-shot latte.
Ugh.
My Dr, said it was BS too! BUT the stupid nurse who did my check in said that it's best to wait a cycle or two...
I didn't even a have a single spot when they yanked the thing out. Apparently I have a platinum uterus.
Luck for both of us! :sigh:
Hi ladies,
My best friend had her IUD taken out last April and conceived 3 months later. Her son is now almost a year old! So there's some positive info for you
