Why did they not tell me?

My counseling clinic did not tell me that the therapist I wanted to meet with had returned? She is more of a seasonal/contracted therapist to help with heavier case loads so I met with her last spring until April when she was no longer contracted. I told the front desk, my summer therapist and the psychologist that I wanted her back when she returned in September. I was so miserable with my psychologist and 2nd therapist that I quit all of it, the meds and the counseling. Those two together weren't nearly as helpful as the first therapist on her own. Should I even try to go back and talk with my original therapist or do you think it is more along the lines of she doesn't want me as her patient?

I'd go back.  If she helped you I can't imagine why she wouldn't take you back.

I decided not to torture myself by getting two sessions with her and then want more but have her not covered under my primary insurance. She is on the plan with my secondary insurance but that ends in a week and I can't afford the out of pocket cost to go see her.
