Intro?

I can't remember if I ever 'formally' introduced myself over here, but I have been lurking, and occasionally posting since we found out we were having twins...

I am 37, DH is 34 and we have a 16 month old.  Expecting twins 4 weeks from today..... and I am officially starting to freak out.  I am sure the lack of sleep and constant uncomfortableness (is that a word?) is not helping, but I am starting to feel really anxious.  Mostly about delivery I think.  I am hoping to deliver vaginally (I did with my DD and she was 8lbs. 3ozs.)  and both babies are head down right now.  My doc says as long as they stay that way, everything should be fine.  I just have some serious doubts about the whole process..... 

I have gotten some really good info from you ladies so far- so thank you!  And I am looking forward to reading your sage advice in the future

Congrats on your twins! Both my guys were head down and I delivered both vag (with forceps). Nate was 6.12 and Ryan was 6.1lbs. I had wonderful pain management throughout and didn't feel a thing except for some intense pressure.

The last few weeks prior to delivery were ... well, awful. I was miserably uncomfortable. It's hard but you're almost there! Good luck with these last few weeks!

BTW: Your daughter is beautiful!

Good luck with the final weeks -it's torturous but totally worth it!
