Friday Jillian Check In

Hi Ladies!

It's always nice to see new faces doing the Shred.  I about fell off the wagon.  I took 2 days off of exercise.  My DH isn't working this week so I've fallen into the trap of being lazy.  I'm doing double the workouts today and tomorrow to make up for the missed.  Ugh..

 How is everyone else doing?  Keep it up and stay active!

    I'm supposed to be on D4L1 of the Shred but I'm having to take today off (traveling). I'll pick back up tomorrow when we get back home. I will say I've been proud of myself this week. After the first two days, my thighs hurt so bad it really just about brought tears to my eyes. I wanted so badly to take a day off but encouragement from you ladies kept me on track. Once I started, the soreness went away and the workout was noticably easier than on D1 and D2.

    I'm so excited to see my body after the 30 days! And really glad I decided to start kicking my own butt right before swim suit season. No bikini for me but I should at least be able to rock a tankini without embarrassment!

  • Hey ladies!!  OMG, just did D1L2 of 30DS and wow!  Just alot different than I thought....so many planks!  Jillian definitely killed me today!

    JLS- so happy to hear that you worked through the soreness!  It really does get better! 

    Shugs- way to jump back on the wagon.  I don't know if I could excercise EVERY day.  I've taken 2 days off since I started, and I think I feel better for it!

  • After reading everyone's check-ins I purchased the DVD and started Day 1 today.  Boy has it  been a long time since I've worked out.  But I love that this workout is only 20 minutes and gets my heart rate up high enough that I started to sweat.  

    Will definitely be keeping up with this now.  So thank you girls for the recommendation!
