Britax B-Ready

I am in love with the Britax B-Ready but my husband is making me second guess this stroller. He thinks that it's a waste of money and that I can find a good stroller for less that I will love as much. Anyone have this and think it's a good buy? We plan on have 2U2 and I think the 2nd seat is a really neat idea and am excited about not having to buy a whole new stroller when baby #2 comes along. Thanks in advance for your input :)

Re: Britax B-Ready

  • My B-Ready is supposed to arrive today! So obviously, I've not used it yet but I am very excited about it, and it seems that people that have them already are pretty happy. We looked at several strollers at Buy Buy Baby, and the majority of strollers in the same style cost the same or more than the B-Ready. A lot of people tend to go with the Uppababy Vista (which is what I wanted before the B-ready came out). Also popular is the Baby Jogger City Select. Here is a nice comparison of the three.

Not sure if you are aware of the Britax Free Ride event, but now/soon is the time to buy if it's what you want. They are about $400 on Amazon, it's possible to get an extra 10% off by adding it to your registry and using your completion discount (must set your due date to now-ish though for that to work). Then you can get the second seat for free, or get the free car seat. I got my B-ready w/ a bassinet this way for $340, no tax and free shipping!

I did this too. However, I got the second seat instead of the bassinet. Mine ended up being $352. I can't wait for it to arrive!

  • Yay! I bought it!! It was only $346.14 and I bought the infant car seat in Cowmooflage. I am so excited for this stroller/car seat it's going to be adorable! Thanks for letting me know about the free ride event.

  • Couldn't scrape up a coupon code but I ordered anyway.  So excited!
  • I have it for my 2u2 and LOVE it!! There are so many configurations...even ones Britax doesn't show. For example, I'll put the bassinet in the back/lower position using the lower carseat adapter, so DD can sit in the front. You can even put the main seat in the back with the adapter b/c it's a bigger seat than the 2nd seat, while DC#2 rides in the carseat or bassinet in the front.
