Guess I gotta go on birth control....any recommendations?

I'm going to be weening off the BFing, so I have to go on birth control I guess Boo. I hate BC. I always forget to take pills, and I hate all the side effects. Does anyone have any recommendations? We were ttc for so long I haven't been on any BC for like damn near 3 years and it was glorious! Lol I've been on the pill, the shot, the patch. I don't want to get pg anytime soon unfortunately so something long term is aok with me. Thanks for your help!

I'm getting an IUD placed, but can't really review it since I haven't had it before.  Good luck!

Same as PPs, I'm getting an IUD. That's what my Dr suggested since I am BF'ing and there are no hormones. But since you will not be nursing, there is also NuvaRing,which is the same idea but has hormones, I have heard good things about.

O yea the ring!!! I did that too hahahaha! I have my 6 week tomorrow. Think I'll ask abt the IUD. Thanks girls!

I'm also getting an iud and had one before with no problems. I am horrible with bc and also have tried all of them.

I had the Ortho-Evra patch before getting pregnant and I really liked it. Very easy to use, no real memory needed- just need to set an alarm on my phone on the day to swap. If I were getting BC I'd get it again, but DH is getting the snip. That's our BC.
