Pop but no water?

Ok, so I just felt a "pop" down low--something I have never felt before so I waddled to the bathroom and there was no fluid. I sat there for about 5 minutes...still nothing but it does smell a little different down there. Thoughts?

 

I googled and someone else said that something similar happened and when their contractions started 30 minutes later, the water came out.

Lay down on your side for a half hour or so- if it's your water you'll get a little gush when you stand up. If you felt a pop while standing and then sat for a bit baby's head may be blocking that all up like a cork.

I had a popping sound in my belly a few nights ago. It only happened once and I have had no cramping or leaking of fluid. Idk what it is but from my experience sounds dont = water breaking.

I've heard a pop a couple of times and felt a strange feeling, but it hasn't been my water breaking yet. I'm not really sure what it is.

I heard and felt a pop this morning when I got up to go to the bathroom. I don't know what it was, maybe a ligament popped back into place or something? I definitely didn't have a leak or anything.
