Your protocol in stopping PIO..

So mine looks like at 10w they'll reduce me from 1ml to half an ml and then I go back to RE at 11w3d. Presumably they'll have me stop after that assuming all is well. I am BEYOND nervous to go off PIO. When did you or are stopping and did you go cold turkey and wean off? Is there any risk to the pregnancy you think by stopping?

I'm a newbie to this but from what I've read that seems to be a good plan. The weaning off is key. If the placenta is taking over then you really don't need it but I can imagine how scary it must be.

my dose was reduced from 1 cc to 1/2 between 6w4d and 7w4d, and at my 7w4d appt, i was taken off of it.

i was super nervous going off of it, but when i saw my blueberries at my OB today, they looked nice and strong still

My RE tries to wean you around 8 weeks.  Then, go from the 1cc to the 1/2cc a day.  Two days after the drop, they check my progesterone level.  If there are issues, they put me back to the old dosage and recheck in a week.

Mine dropped from 1 ml to 1/2 the day I had my beta. My level was 120, then two days later it went up to 124 even after dropping it. So they told me to stop altogether. I was crazy nervous. My RE said once it was clear my body doing it without the shots there was no need for them.

My RE is having me stop cold turkey at 10 weeks.  I don't think there is a risk!

I think the placenta starts taking over between 8 and 9 weeks and that's why you don't need to supplement. At my last RE appt (8weeks) I went from 1 cc every day to 1 cc every other day also dropped my estrace from 2 tablets twice a day to 1 tablet once a day.  I should stop everything at 10 weeks.

I was instructed to stop @ 10 weeks, cold turkey. They also didn't bother checking my levels either before or after I stopped so I'm a bit scared.
