Feeling flutters

Ok, I already know it's not the baby.  But is it possible for your uterus to have spasms, like when you get an eye twitch and that one little muscle won't stop contracting?  I just felt fluttering right behind my pubic bone for about 5 minutes, and now it's stopped.  Anyone else feel this?

    I am not sure what it is exactly, but I have had the same feeling ever since I had DS last year. I feel it every once in awhile and it also feels like a little spasm to me too.

    Yes, I got it the week before my BFP. It went on and off for days. The nutjob in me was afraid it was going to violently shake whatever baby there might be out! It drove me nuts.

    Weird! I had this 2 days ago above my belly button. I thought I was crazy. I wonder what causes this.
