I'm taking a day off work soon to spend time with DH and DS during the week.  We're planning on going out to do something (or somethings).  We just don't know what...

Aquarium?
Children's Museum?
Zoo?  (weather dependent)
Jumpy place? 
Somewhere else? 

Where would you go?

For me it would depend on the weather.  If it was nice I would like to get everyone out of the house.  Although getting out to a jumpy place will burn a lot of energy   I love the soup/salad lunch at Applebee's so that would be my pick.

We took DS to Zips for his 2nd bday and he was infatuated with the train that runs along the ceiling.  I will say, though, that the menu isn't kid friendly (I think we ordered him the chicken finger app) and the restaurant is small and they don't have booster seats/high chairs.  But their burgers rock!  It was fun and different.

I vote for the Aquarium, Children's Museum (although, I've never been but would love to go), or the Zoo.

I think those are all places that require a few good hours of playing and exploring and would probably be really busy on a weekend.  We've taken C to a jumpy place before, and while she had a blast, we only spent 1 1/2 - 2 hours there before we were ready to head out. 

I also really want to take her to Entertrainment Junction.  Just to add another option.
