pen for writing on medela storage bottles?

I am using the Medela BM freezing/storage bottles-anyone else using these?  There is a spot to write the date and name on the side of the bottle.  What pen should I use to write on it that can be erased so I can reuse them?  TIA.

I used a china marker (aka grease pencil). They're food safe and don't erase until you wash them with soap and water (so it doesn't smudge all over your hands). I got them at craft stores (JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, Michael's) in the art pencil section.

I write the date on a piece of scotch tape with a black sharpie.

I use a sharpie on blue painting tape.

I use pencil on the 2.5 oz storage bottles and erase the date when I wash it.

For the 5 oz bottles I use scotch tape and write the date in regular pen.

I don't reuse the storage bags.
