So in one of our bedrooms, I keep finding ladybugs. It's a spare bedroom, so we keep the door closed - but every time I go in there I find at least one. I went in there after a while of not being in there and cleared out 10! Sometimes alive, sometimes dead/asleep/not moving.
I have no idea where they are coming from... Any idea how to get rid of them??
Re: NBR: Ladybugs
Oh fun!! We got them majorly in the fall when it started to get cold. Everything I read said to just vacuum them up and throw them out and then wipe down with a cleaning solution (like vinegar and water) where they were (because they release a scent that attracts more).
I also read that they tend to return yearly once they've found a place they like
This year we're going to put a ladybug 'house' (they look kind of like bird houses) out on the deck in hopes they stay out there instead of coming inside!! I don't want to use any kind of poison because I having them around to keep the aphids off my tomatoes! I just don't want them in my house!
At one point I counted 49 all around our back door (some inside some out) - after clearing them off just 10 hours before!!! It was ridiculous! Needless to say we also sealed the door better
The good news is they're completely harmless, just annoying!
