I am going to a wedding this weekend, and this morning I was packing my bag. I tried on a few different dresses to see what I wanted to wear. UGH. I think my post-partum body is totally fine and I've thought, "gosh, I'm still 10-15 lbs more than pre-pregnancy but I look fine so where did it all go?" Well...I'm really different from pre-preg. The dresses looked like hell except for this one that I had been meaning to get rid of or alter because it was it was a hand-me-down from my mom and too big...haha. That's the one I'm bringing.
I'm going to have to do some work to get back to normal this spring or I'll need a new wardrobe this summer....
How is everyone else doing in their bodies these days?

i could have written this post, OP. same problem. i have 4 weddings this year, so i started trying on every dress in my closet, and they all fit differently! well, let's say most don't fit at all. i'm only 5 pounds up but it's all kinda settled in my hip area and right around my rib cage?!most of the dresses won't zip right under the boob area.
i had to go buy a new dress that didn't make me feel all pudgy in the middle. :-( and i've been working out like crazy since my 6-week checkup so, don't feel bad. i think it just takes time.
Ugh, I'm right there with ya! I'm still 10 pounds above pre-preg weight, have a bit of a belly, and I have no waist any more, haha. I'm still on maternity leave and don't really go out much, so clothes aren't a big problem yet. I'm dreading going back to work because I don't know what I'll wear.
Oh, and it doesn't help that my mom is staying with us to help with LO. She keeps talking to LO and saying "Oh, Cameron, your mom hasn't lost any weight." Seriously annoying.
I've still got 10 to go to get to my pre-pregnancy weight & ideally 10 more after that. I am still in maternity pants as well.
i have about 5 more pounds to get to my pre-pregnancy weight....but this 5 lbs seems to want to stick around.....i hate the lose belly skin going on....im in a wedding may 7th...praying my dress fits...may have to get some spanks...i want the extra "skin" gone STAT!
5 pounds to go to pre-preg weight and 5 more to my bikini weight. I can just barely button my jeans, but have major muffin top. I'm going out with the girls tomorrow night and have no idea what I will wear. I also have no idea what I'll do when I start work in two weeks because my work pants do NOT button.
I am squishy all over, even though I've been busting my butt in the gym for the past 6 weeks.
Yeah my mom is weird like that, too. She has made comments about my "post-partum body" when everyone else is like, "wow, you must have lost all of your pregnancy weight!" (those people are wrong, too, but basically I went from a thin person to a thinn-ish person...and I look fine.) Why do moms have to be so weird?!
I am down 6lbs from Pre-pregnancy weight. I have been doing the 30day shred for about 45 days though and that has made a huge difference. Before I started I hated my stomach which was the part that was still different than before. But the 30day shred has been amazing and I can see my stomach tightening.
I have lost 8" overall. I am doing Weight Watchers too, so that helps.
I am pretty sure my body will not be the way it was before, but as I was a little overweight then I hope to continue to get smaller and in better shape.
I can't stand my body right now. I still have about 15 lbs to lose and everything all saggy. I'm going to start the gym next week so I'm hoping that will help
