We've been on a wait list for outpatient PT at the local branch of the Children's hospital of Richmond since we moved in August. In WV our birth to 3 PT was the same one we had in outpatient and she was great.
Well in my county here they only have one part-time PT, and we weren't 'severe' enough to get her. We had OT who was 'cross trained..' which was really a waste of time. She never touched Peyton. It was all questions.
Well we had our 6 month review, and knowing we were starting outpatient PT we decided (at her request too) to drop OT. We are adding ST through EI. We are still wait listed for an eval through outpatient ST as well.
I never would of thought that WV would of had more available medical wise to Peyton that VA would, go figure.
Now my AW
She grabbed my leg and wanted me to get up off the couch. So, I got up and took her hand, she went to the bedroom. She wanted to take her nap! *tear* It was kind of bittersweet though. She seems to be getting SO Frustrated lately at not being able to communicate. I can just picture what I feel like she should be doing. She should of said, "bed momma" or "nap momma"
