My H and step-daughter are bringing the girls down to meet my coworkers and take me to lunch. We honestly don't go out to eat a lot (never did, even before the girls), and thus far have only gone places we could leave them in the double stroller while we ate. (Panera, restaurants w/outdoor seating, etc.)
I think they're still a little young for restaurant high chairs. Do we just leave them in their car seats and put them in the flipped over high chairs? Try to cram all of us into a booth with their car seats sideways? Try the high chairs and laugh when they slump over and try to chew on them?
What do you do when you can't take the stroller in, but they're too small for high chairs?

A lot of restaurants have the slings that you can put an infant carseat in as well. Either that, or ask for a large booth and you can slide the carseats into the booth.
I know yours are still pretty young, but they do also have portable booster seats that fold up that you can get, I think I'll probably do that with mine for that in between stage where they are too tiny for a "real" high chair, but want to be up and seeing whats going on!
