I love Andi for a girl but wanted a girly first name and I love Andelyn! Now, we need a middle name!!!
I think I like Acelyn better! Then you can call her "Ace"!
OP, if you're really serious, adding -lyn to something doesn't make it a name. It doesn't even make it a pretty name.
Married 5/31/08 * TTC#1 9/09 - 2/11 after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
IT'S A GIRL!
#2 EDD 2/5/13 dx with anti-BIG E antibody, seeing a MFM
I don't take one single minute for granted.
Andelyn looks weird and clunky and like something your kid will have to spell and respell 85 times a day throughout her life. "What? Mandolin? Amanda Lynn? Madeline? HUH?"

If having a "girly" first name is important to you, I would advise against Andelyn. It doesn't look girly. It looks like a mess.
Love the idea of Andi as a nn for Miranda.

I like that too!
But I really think this is MUD.
Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266
*Cautiously expecting baby girls on November 28, 2011*
I grew up with an Andelynn, so I am used to this name, but I agree with the poster that Miranda would be a good choice.
Sounds like a musical instrument...
sad when you hope for MUD

I thought you weren't going the Alexandra route because of a FB issue?

Go back to Alexandra. Or go with Andrea.

Andelyn is pretty. But since you were asking opinions on mn's... what about something less unique?
