This story and these images are completely captivating to me. As a photographer myself, I know the connection you can feel with those you are photographing and I cannot even wrap my mind around what it would be like to document someone's life this way; to spend that many years with them.
Anyway, if you have some time to kill today, this will keep you interested for awhile. I will warn you that some of the images are pretty graphic and, to some, probably disturbing.

You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
Also that there are people living here in complete poverty. Looking at the photos, I would have thought the time line was years and years earlier; definitely not the 1990's and 2000's.

I'm amazed that this country is will to spend millions & billions helping other countries but wont spend nearly that much helping their own people.
