How old was she when they were done and who pierced them?
I was talking about this with my mom and she said when my sister and I were born the hospital pierced them for her. Like the same way you can check off that you want your son circumcised, you check that you want your daughter's ears pierced.
I want to pierce DD's ears when she's little so I can take care of the piercing for her and so she won't remember having it dine, but I'm skiddish about where and when to go.
Re: If your daughter has her ears pierced
6 months...we actually had it done at Wal-Mart. I stalked the piercing counter for a few weeks before we took her. I noticed the same lady there every time so I was confident that she wasn't a new employee and the week before we had it done I stopped and asked her her history...she had been piercing and with Wal-Mart for 3 years. I even looped back around to see her work...she had just finished a 4 month old. We went with the 14K gold studs and the service was free...My DD was a CHAMP!! She didn't even notice the first piercing and after the second she cried for all of 15 sec. We gave her a paci and we were done. They turned out PERFECT! They also provided the cleaning kit...the size of the bottle is way more than you need. I think we only spent $25?Hope that helps.
We had them done at 4 months at Claires at the mall. But, I wouldn't pick just any mall type store. I had a recommendation of a particular employee. The girls did great. Cried for maybe a minute tops and then they were fine. We did it for the same reason as you stated above, I wanted to be able to take care of them. They have healed up very well and look adorable. On the waiver I had to sign they required them to be at least 3 months and have had a round of vaccinations.
Good luck!
